DVCPRO HC Codec & Multi-format Underwater housing for Panasonic AG-HVX200 compact broadcast & industrial use HD video camera, having HD & standard definition recording formats (1080/60i, 1080/30p, 1080/24p, 720/30p, 720/24p, 480i, 480p). The Seatool HVX200 housing is machined from polycarbonate and corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, and constructed to the same high precision level as the camera, realizing the ultimate in lightweight, compact size and professional features. |
| Main Characteristics |
| Combination of polycarbonate resin and corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, machined into a beautiful body design with every bit of unnecessary material removed. Drastic weight and size reductions compared to conventional designs. For underwater imaging professionals and serious amateurs alike, the housing’s midsection is aluminum, one of the best performance materials for high-end housings, giving the HVX200 exceptional underwater balance and handing. Remote controls (REC, Zoom, Focus, Iris) are designed near the ergonomic grips so main control functions can be accessed without removing hands from grips. Meeting the needs of the professional, the housing bottom has two track mounted, slideable balance weights. Depending on the lighting system or lens port, the balance weights can be adjusted front to back, or left to right, to fine tune underwater balance, achieving desired handling characteristics. Also, the balance weights can be removed to adjust underwater weight. Two underwater wet connectable connector ports for video-out cable, for monitoring, or audio-in cable, for narration etc. Of course, external LCD monitors can be connected as well. Removable carry handle, convenient when carrying housing. |
