The Seatool 400XTi housing for Canon EOS Rebel XTi/400D/Kiss Digital X cameras 510g(18oz.) light camera body, 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC II image processor for natural color reproduction. With housing body precision machined from corrosion resistant aluminum alloy, form fitting the camera and using ergonomic design, the ultimate in ultra lightweight, compact DSLR housings. Equipped with optimally positioned, angle adjustable shutter lever and large, easily operable knobs, even with gloves. Also, with right hand holding housing, controls are located in the natural positions for easy access with just index finger and thumb. The Seatool 400XTi housing realizes the ideal of one-handed controllability. Two models available. Type1 with fiber optic connectors standard. Type2 with diffuser panel for camera's pop-up flash, and attachment to connect fiber optics.

Super compact & lightweight

Seatool high level manufacturing technology for an ultra compact superlight body. Housing is compact, like the camera, making underwater imaging easy and fun.

One-hand operability

Based on ergonomic design, each dial, lever and button position optimized for ease of use. Possible to hold with right hand and smoothly access shutter lever and main dial without changing hand's grip position.

Easy, two finger control

While holding body with index finger on shutter lever, easily access controls on housing back with thumb. All controls easily operated, even with gloves.

Port & lens lock

Remove port from housing or lens from camera with the "Port Lock Button / Lens Lock Button" located at port base. One button operates both functions.

Type2 for internal strobe use

Type2 housing pentaprism equipped with a diffuser panel to image using camera's pop-up flash. With included mask, fiber optic cables can also be connected.

Sync socket installation option

Optional Canon 6-pin or Nikonos type 5-pin sync sochets available for Type2 model only. With sync sockets, possible to use strobes not having opitical sync function.
