Designed for use with or without grips, the Seatool OME3 housing harnesses maximum utility from the high speed AF and internal strobe of the Olympus E-3 camera.

The Olympus E-3 camera: World's fastest auto-focus, from 11 point full-twin cross AF sensor, for quick, reliable focus. And, 5 frame per second sequential shooting so you don't miss that shutter chance. The Seatool OME3 housing maximizes that high speed spec in a compact and lightweight machined aluminum housing. Useable without grips, the housing keeps the E-3's compact form & feeling. And, well designed controls enable quick, accurate underwater control, like handling and shooting the camera itself in air. The camera's strobe fully pops-up in the housing, allowing full use either as a main strobe for macro, or to trigger external strobes by fiber optic. Enjoy imaging flexibility from macro to ultra-wide angle.

Seatool & Olympus ports - both compatible

Of course Seatool brand ports are useable, but with an optional Port Converter, Olympus and other brand ports can also be used.

Exceptional controllability

Control shutter, main & sub dials, AF switch and panel light switch and panel light without removing your right hand from the housing. Even underwater, the controllability is just like using the camera on land.

Interchangeable viewfinder compatibility

Besides normal finder, attach optional pick-up finder, or Inon 45-degree or straight viewfinders.

Ultra compact, excellent underwater balance

Precision machined aluminum body just fits camera. Besides enabling a more compact external form, minimizing internal air space also keeps the underwater weight to just 180g/6.3oz. (including camera) for optimum underwater balance.

Macro imaging without external strobes

Designed for internal strobe full pop-up, easy macro imaging possible, just like using a compact digicam. With the optional Crescent Diffuser, place camera right up to subject and still get uniform lighting without shadows.

Wide-angle imaging with external strobes

Using camera's internal strobe, optically trigger external strobes with fiber optic. Or, hard-wire Olympus brand strobes with one or two sync terminal bulkheads, available optionally.
