New style concept! Compact & lightweight digital video housing

Seatool introduces a new underwater housing style concept for Panasonic SD9 and HS9 video cameras. The compact and lightweight SD9 camera uses SD card recording media. The HS9 uses a hard disk, for long recording times. Both housing chassis and monitor enclosure are precision machined from corrosion resistant aluminum alloy billet, like previous Seatool housings. Each housing intergrates the camera's included remote control, so menus can be accessed and used, enabling full camera functionality and giving the user all tools necessary for great imaging. With a "ST Bayonet Mount" included as standard equipment, quickly and easily attach underwater wet-mount conversion lenses. From wide angle to macro, don't miss any imaging opportunities! Also, with included "fiber optic cable connector", use external strobes to light still images. Seatool: supporting full underwater camera potential.

Control functions using included remote control

Attach camera's included remote control to housing wall, to enable calling up camera menus and not be limited to just the basic controls. One touch white balance, tele-macro and other functions can be used.

One-touch conversion lens attachment

Equipped with "ST Bayonet Mount". Quick and easy one-touch attachment of FIX fisheye and 15mm wide conversion lenses. With included bayonet conversion ring, also attach 67mm threaded conversions lenses with same one-touch action.

Simple & secure rear lid open/close mechanism

Open and close rear lid just by turning the rotary lock dial. Safe and reliable design with lock button and double O-ring seals. Also, housing designed so that when closed, the remote control cover cannot be opened.

Precision machined corrosion resistant materials

One-piece machined main chassis. Monitor enclosure also one-piece machined. Approx. 270 gramms buoyancy(with HS9 camera), but with optional grip, light and conversion lens attached, optimum underwater buoyancy can be achieved.

Internal flip-type filter

Equipped with internal flip-type color filter. Just flipping a lever to place filter over lens suppresses blues and restores vivid colors. With optional pink filter, correct for green water conditions too. Filters are interchangeable.

Separable monitor enclosure

Housing body and monitor enclosure can be easily separated by releasing port safety lock, making packing and transport easier. Also monitor port opening can be sealed with a dummy panel and external monitor can be used instead, for a more compact configuration.
